Allow us to present to you handpicked & crowd favorite icebreakers by TWI

Bring Me A Shoelace

The first ice breaker is called bring me a shoelace. In this game, you ask your team members who are on the screen to bring random objects. It can be any object. for an example it can be a credit card, a pen or even a shoelace.

Ideal group size: Small-Large

Key attributes: Agility, Enthusiasm

Now, use your imagination and execute this ice breaker and add a pinch of enthusiasm to your meeting.

Two truths and a lie

The next ice breaker is 2 truths and one lie in this ice breaker. your team members will get to know each other on a deeper level here. For an example, you have made three statements and three statements are

# I have a car which is white in color.

# I fractured my hands five times in my childhood.

# I am living outside of Delhi.

Now your team members have to guess out of these three statements which one is a lie and which other two are the correct statements.

Ideal group size: Small-Medium

Key attributes: Bonding, deep understanding

This ice breaker is going to help bond with team members a great deal, give it a try in your session.

Mamaji Ki Dhoti Mein

This ice breaker is a laugh riot and we are sure about it that when your team members take part in this ice breaker they are going to ‘laugh out loud’. For this, you need to ask all your team members to think of their favorite movie and write it down in the comment box or they can also write it down on a paper with them. Once everyone has written down their favorite movies you ask them to add ‘Mamaji Ki Dhoti Mein’ right after their favorite movie titles.

Ideal group size: Small-Medium

Key attributes: Energize, Experience

Start off on the right foot with some fun on your table with this activity.

10 Seconds challenge

You can challenge your team members and they’ll need to take part in all those challenges. Challenges can be random or playful. For an example, you can ask your team members to shout out their favorite politician’s name. It’s on you now to be witty and see what they do within 10 seconds of time frame of the task.

Ideal Group size: Medium-Large

Key Attributes: Activeness, Entertainment

P.S. Our favorites are asking attendees to wrap a saree or do 10 burpees in 10 seconds.

Saand Chhupa Badal Mein

The next ice breaker is known as a saand chhupa baadal mein. You can sense the fun in the name itself. This one is pretty simple; you ask your team members to write down a song which has got the word ‘chaand’ in it and you ask him to write it down either in the comment box or on a sheet of paper. Once they all have written down their responses you tell them that there is a twist that you have to replace the word ‘chaand’ with the word ‘saand’. For an example, ‘chaand chhupa baadal mein’ becomes ‘saand chhupa baadal mein’.

Ideal group size: Medium-Large

Key attributes: Witty, Creative

A favorite of TWI, try this and laugh at your own suggestions.

You Rock

The name of this ice breaker is you rock, yes you all simply rock! In a virtual meeting all the people will be on the screen in a grid and you have to simply send someone a message privately saying ‘you rock’ and now all the team members will be guessing that who is the person who actually rocks. If the person is giving a wrong response the person goes away from the camera or simply turns off the camera and eventually the person who gives the correct answer will be the winner of this ice breaker activity.

Ideal Group size: Small

Key attributes: Observance, Expression

The person who got the message has to keep a straight face while others have to observe expressions keenly.

Funny Laugh

Coming down to the last ice breaker, which is the 7th ice breaker known as funny laugh. As the name suggests that all the attendees have to laugh in a funny manner. It can be anything from an evil laugh, chuckle or loud laugh. Now, it is onto the creativity of the attendees for the way they laugh and you have to decide who is the person whose laugh was the funniest.

Ideal group size: Any

Key attributes: Jubilation, Happiness

A hearty round of funny laughter will spark joy in everyone.
